Kingdom Plantae
Things that all plants have in common is that they can produce their own food using light. They are able to do this because they have plant pigments called chlorophyl. All the plant cells have a cell wall, a large central vacuole, chloroplasts and plasmodesmata.

Bryophyta - Short plants
Well known examples of these plants are Hornworts, liverworts and mosses. These plants tend to grow and live closely packed together. They are found on rocks, soil or trunks of Forrest trees. The classification was created by DNA sequencing. Since they live on the floors of forests and other biomes they don't need as much sunlight to survive. These plants also provide seed beds for larger plants and habitats for insects. Since they are so low on the ground they are very good at catching rainfall. These pants are non vesicular.

This is what the spores look like.
Filicinophyta - Ferns and horsetails
Well known exmaples of these plants are ferns and horsetails. These plants are land based vascular plants. Reproduction is different for these kinds of plants, they reproduce using spores (Instead of seeds) found under the leaves. The size and structure of these plants vary from having large tree ferns to tiny aquatic ferns.
Coniferophyta - Cedar and Pine Trees
Known examples of this plant are Cedar, Juniper, Fir and Pine Trees. They produce cones and the leaves have needle like appearances. These plants tend to be seed plants with woody stems with a single straight trunk. Meaning that they are usually trees or shrubs that support themselves. Pollen on the other hand is usually created in the cones that these trees produce. The areas where these trees tend to grow are usually colder regions. These trees usually grow in a coned shape, they have a peak at the top. The Coniferophyta plants tend to live only lifespans and grow to be very tall and thick.

Angiospermophyta - Plants which bear flowers and seeds
This type of plant makes fruits and seeds. These plants can be the most diverse plant group on the planet. Angiospermophyta Live in every habitat on earth except extreme environments. They can be small herbs, live in water or they can be large trees. Reproductive structures for this plants are found in the flower. They reproduce using pollen, usually from the flowers. The fertilized plant embryo is the fruit for this type of plant.
